The International Autoimmune Arthritis Movement (IAAM) is an official 501c3 worldwide nonprofit that focuses exclusively on helping those affected by Autoimmune ArthritisWe are a nonprofit formed by autoimmune arthritis sufferers, run by autoimmune arthritis sufferers and, therefore, will continue to address the problems faced by autoimmune arthritis sufferers.

Help Us Help You!

IAAM became an official nonprofit on May 7th, 2011.  We are actively seeking funding for the following initiatives and programs:

The IAAM Family Care Package.  Those who suffer from Autoimmune Arthritis often face hospital visits due to complications from these diseases.  We are partnering with businesses to donate a permanent, standardized care packages that will be sent to every patient (internationally) who is hospitalized due to their Autoimmune Arthritis.  We need funding to pay for packaging, cards, and postage.

Awareness Poster Campaign.  We recently launched our Awareness Poster Campaign, starting with Juvenile Arthritis. Through 2012 we will launch all Awareness Posters, one for each disease we represent.  While you can download the poster to the left by visiting our Juvenile Arthritis page, we need financing to print to poster size and to distribute to doctors offices world wide and for public appearances.

Other Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Initiatives:
- Juvenile Arthritis Advisory Panel.  We will soon be recruiting for JA-Parent teams to serve on our 1st Juvenile Arthritis Advisory Panel.  This group will be responsible for reviewing publications and marketing initiatives prior to launch and offering their personal expertise regarding the disease and its affect on every day life.  We will require funding for advertising and software.

Media Awareness Hotline.  The Media Awareness Hotline was launched in August 2011, providing the 1st resource where you can report misinformation about Autoimmune Arthritis if seen or heard in publications or on broadcasts.  In September 2011 a submission was received regarding a statement made by Dr. Phil, where he mistakenly stated that childhood obesity would lead to Rheumatoid Arthritis.  Our Media Awareness Hotline Team led a Call to Action, producing over 500 emails to the show, world wide, in under a week.  This was intricate in achieving the goal of a public retraction, posted by Dr. Phil on World Arthritis Day 2011.  Funds required for this initiative include advertising, mobile apps (development and licensing), and software.  (IAAM is copyrighting this program).

Interactive Website.

IAAM will need to hire a web designer, as well as purchase a larger site with more sophisticated capabilities, in order to create interactive sections of our Awareness and Wellness sectors.  In addition we'd like to create in depth fundraising capabilities for each segment of our organization.

Advertisement.  In order to truly raise awareness, IAAM's campaigns need to be put into print on a larger scale, including, but not limited to, ads in print, radio and television.  Without financial recources we will be limited to the change we are capable of making.  In addition, IAAM has 3-fold brochures and other advertising materials designed, but currently we have no funding to print to send for those requesting more information to hand out at fundraising events.

In order to develop and continue our initiatives we need your help.  Thank you for intigating change!

Because IAAM is a 501c3 nonprofit all donations will be emailing with a tax receipt.
