We don't have "Arthritis".
We have Autoimmune Arthritis diseases.

Meet the Leaders

The Founders
IAAM has 3 Founders, all who have put much time and effort into the development of IAAM.  These individuals create, review, and approve all items developed in the organization. These individuals have proven to be exemplary leaders in the formation of this nonprofit and will continue to work diligently to ensure the spirit and character of the organization is upheld through its' continued development.

Amanda,  Co-Founder/Officer, was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in January 2006, Amanda currently resides in Charlotte, NC and works in Sales Management.  She manages IAAM's Blog Leaders and is active in the Juvenile Awareness committee. In addition, she has been an Advocate for the American College of Rheumatology where she travels to Washington DC to address current issues with congressional representatives on Capitol Hill.

Tami, Co-Founder/Officer, worked in the law enforcement and legal professions as an administrator and paralegal for over 25 years.  In 2009, she applied for and was awarded disability due to Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sjrogrens Disease and Fibromyalgia.  Tami Project Manages IAAM's Media Awareness Hotline and Resource Database.  In addition, she is a selected Advocate for the American College of Rheumatology where she travels to Washington DC to address current issues with congressional representatives on Capitol Hill.

Tiffany, Founder/CEO, has worked professionally in Project Management and Marketing, as well as taught design and business on a college level for eight years. After being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2009, she started a "Movement of Awareness", which spiraled into the nonprofit you see today.  Tiffany oversees all sectors of IAAM, focusing primarily on business relationships, the Media Awareness Hotline, Advertising, and runs the Volunteer Training Program.  In addition she serves on the organizations Board of Directors.

In addition, she is a selected Advocate for the American College of Rheumatology where she travels to Washington DC to address current issues with congressional representatives on Capitol Hill.

Tiffany says, "I've always been a leader and teacher, a strong personality, and a dire optimist.  I have a wonderful family and I pride myself in surrounding myself with quality friendships.  I knew when I developed Rheumatoid Arthritis, and not many people seemed to understand what that meanth, that it was my calling in life to use all my expertise and talents to make a difference... I did not know, however, that I would be fortunate enough to enter this journey with former law enforcement workers, super-moms, funny ladies and a motorcycle mama on a healthcare mission.  How lucky am I?

Volunteers
Volunteering with IAAM is more than raising awareness, helping with wellness or researching resources, we are a family of individuals motivated to change the world...mostly from our home computers!
Because we work primarily virtually, it is important for our Volunteers to be in complete sinc with our mission and goals, history, programs, and social networking etiquette.  Training is done online, via email.  Sessions begin every January, April, July, and October.  To inquire about Volunteering for our next session, please email tiffany@IAAMovement.org .

“Be the change you wish to see in the world.” -Ghandi
